Compliance Management

With our products, we want to contribute to making the world a little better for everyone. However, it is also important to us that we as a Company meet the highest ethical standards. All Veganz employees therefore sign a commitment in accordance with the General Equal Treatment Act and our Veganz Code of Conduct when they join the Company.

In our Code of Conduct we set out in detail what behaviour is permitted – and what is not. In it we describe, among other things:

  • the non-discriminatory appreciation of all people with whom we deal – regardless of age, gender, religion, abilities, origin or sexual orientation,
  • the prohibition of granting and accepting unauthorised advantages to our business partners,
  • the protection of operational, corporate and personal data by all appropriate and reasonable means, and
  • the avoidance of conflicts of interest that could arise from secondary employment or equity investments.

With regard to breaches of ethical conduct or cases of corruption, we have a clean record with 0 cases for 2021 and 2020. We want to keep it that way in the future. Therefore, we are continuously working on the further development of our Code of Conduct, offer employee training on ethical behaviour and regularly review the effectiveness of our anti-corruption measures.

In our Code of Conduct for Business Partners, which all our suppliers are required to sign before we work with them, we set out further detailed requirements. These range from dealing with inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment, to expectations of meeting minimum legal requirements on pay and working hours, to our zero-tolerance policy on child and forced labour.
