Even though personal data is not central to our business model, we are very aware of our responsibility in terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and want all people who are in contact with Veganz to feel secure regarding the protection of their personal data.

In order to identify possible risks around the topic of data management in good time, we therefore work together with an external service provider in the area of data protection and security. In doing so, we proceed according to a defined step model in order to classify risks according to the probability of occurrence and the severity of possible consequential damage.

To ensure compliance with data protection requirements, we regularly conduct data protection audits. The current audit process by our external service provider was successfully completed at the beginning of 2022 and initial recommendations for action have already been implemented.
In addition, we rely on numerous measures that have already been tried and tested: these include the use of encryption protocols and software as well as physical, electronic and procedural security precautions in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personal data.
